TERESA JACOBSSON

Chief Executive Officer Teresa Jacobsson is the founder and owner of JW Industries Group. With over 30 years of experience in organization and business development, local, state, and federal services contracting, and construction and industrial services, Teresa brings a substantial and diverse level of experience to our company. Prior to establishing JWIG, Teresa held the position of CEO, business manager, vice-president, division director, and contract administrator for a number of Alaska Native regional entities and village corporations. Leading a Small Business Administration 8(a) company, Teresa has more than 15 years of experience working with the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program; her experience includes completing the program application process, fulfilling reporting requirements, and participating in the acclaimed 8(a) BD Mentor-Protégé Program.

Further, Teresa has demonstrated a passion in serving the community throughout her career. Her service credentials include serving as a director of The Eva Foundation and as the founder and president of the non-profit organizations the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association, the Alaska Women’s Leadership Forum, and the Jacobsson Foundation.
