Teresa Jacobsson is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of JW Industries Group (JWIG). With more than 25 years of experience in business development, operations, risk and change management, and strategic planning, she leads JWIG’s mission to deliver cost-efficient, compliance-ready solutions that align with federal contracting priorities. She specializes in modernizing processes, driving efficiency, and presenting clear, audit-ready value propositions that streamline government operations and advance technology-driven solutions.

Before founding JWIG, Ms. Jacobsson held executive positions with ANCSA corporations and Tribal entities, where she directed modernization initiatives and operational improvements. With over 15 years of experience in the SBA 8(a) Program, including the 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Program, she brings deep expertise in federal acquisition, contract compliance, and technology modernization, positioning JWIG to support agencies in achieving mission-focused outcomes.

Ms. Jacobsson is also the founder and chair of the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association, the Alaska Women’s Leadership Forum, and the Jacobsson Foundation, and has served on multiple nonprofit boards. She continues to mentor women survivors of trauma and received an Emmy nomination for producing the documentary short I am a Tribal Administrator: Diomede.

Chief Financial Officer Karen Hartke is a versatile business professional specializing in financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency. She brings extensive experience in strategic financial oversight, risk management, and process improvement, ensuring streamlined operations and effective service delivery. With a strong foundation in audit and regulatory compliance, she provides expert technical support in GAAP and single-audit compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley standards, audit review, financial reconciliation, reporting, and investment and settlement trust management. Her ability to optimize financial workflows, enhance data integrity, and implement best practices supports organizational success and accountability.

Ms. Hartke supported a multi-year USAF DOD contract with ARAMARK, overseeing financial reporting and providing direct support to the NAF contracting officer. She has also provided joint venture contract support for federal operations and accounting with ANCSA corporations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and modernization in financial processes. Her expertise in government contracting, financial systems integration, and regulatory compliance aligns with federal priorities for financial modernization, transparency, and operational efficiency.
